Spatial audio is a listening experience in which the listener has the impression that the sound is moving about them and coming from multiple directions. On the other hand, lossless quality audio keeps all of the highs and lows of the recording, making it sound exactly like the original track. Apple has added spatial audio with Dolby Atmos compatibility and lossless audio quality to Apple Music on iOS, iPad, and macOS.
How to use Apple Music’s spatial audio feature.
Step 1: Go to Settings in the Apple Music app.
Step 2: Select Settings>Music>Dolby Atmos from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: click “Always On” from the drop-down menu.
At the bottom of the track, you’ll see a “Dolby Atmos” logo.
In Apple Music, how do you enable lossless audio quality?
Step 1: Go to Settings in the Apple Music app.
Step 2: Select Settings>Music>Audio Quality from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Select whether you want this audio quality for “Cellular Streaming,” “WiFi Streaming,” or “Downloads” by turning on the “Lossless audio” toggle.
The albums available in lossless audio quality will have a “Lossless” badge.
